SEO training

I run regular training courses in SEO, social media, online copywriting and online PR aimed primarily at tour operators and Travel PR executives and marketers.

The full-day course can be delivered in two ways. I can come to your offices and tailor the content to your exact needs, including case studies from your company, or your clients.

Alternatively, you can book a place at a group course. These are aimed at in-house PRs, freelancers or agency staff and are run occasionally, normally held at Central London offices. Contact me to find out more.

“We chose to work with Mark as a trainer as he is a well-respected SEO specialist in the travel industry. His SEO and online training session and follow-ups were faultless. He managed to address all levels of knowledge within the group and relate the training to us as a PR consultancy and to our individual clients. Consequently, our staff are much more confident talking about and advising clients on digital strategies.”

– Susie Tempest, Director, The Saltmarsh Partnership

“Just a quick email to say thanks for the seminar yesterday – I can’t believe how you managed to cover off so much in the time we had, but it feels like all of our questions have been answered and SEO is no longer the mystery it once was!”

– Ellie Philpott, Senior Communications Executive, SeaFrance

“Mark is a highly personable and engaging presenter. Thanks largely to his exhaustive research and analysis, he delivered an insightful interpretation of SEO and its implications for PR agencies, with useful recommendations. I would not hesitate to work with him again.”

– James Allen, Managing Director, Marketing Communication Practice, The Communication Group

“The training was extremely enlightening and my one regret is that we set it up after developing the new site, rather than before.

“There is so much to consider when developing a website that it is easy to get carried away with one aspect at the expense of others. Getting insight from Mark, with his expertise, independent outlook and particular awareness of the travel industry, has proved invaluable.

“We had some knowledge of SEO and usability, but Mark’s training broadened our understanding of these issues and, as a result, helped us to structure and prioritise the next phase of our website’s development. I would not hesitate to recommend Mark’s services, even for those who already feel well informed about SEO and usability.”

– Philip Grierson, Marketing Director, Cox & Kings

“Mark’s presentation to the Mango team was excellent. It was well-researched, well-thought through and relevant to our client base. It approached the subject of SEO and Online PR from the perspective of a PR agency; accurately summarising the opportunities and challenges and putting forward some helpful recommendations.”

– Sarah Curra, Managing Director, Mango PR

“Thank you for a really enjoyable day – I learnt so much. Having little knowledge of SEO I had feared that it might be quite technical, so I was delighted to come away armed with the knowledge of some simple techniques that I could implement myself and the notes to be able to develop further skills in order to maximise the SEO opportunities.”

– Anthea Yabsley, Founder, IDeal Public Relations

“A hugely informative training session which was delivered in an entertaining and enlightening manner. Mark clearly knows his stuff and has the hugely beneficial position of seeing things from both a SEO and journalist’s perspective. Even if you think you know the basics of SEO, this course will teach you so much more.”

– Mary Porter, PR Manager, Skyscanner

“Mark’s SEO training is an invaluable piece of the toolkit for today’s travel PR’s. He provides excellent quality training in an easy-to-follow way which is both in-depth and readily applicable to my every day consultancy activity. He is very approachable, but most importantly, he really understands the needs of a travel PR business, its clients and the media, which makes what he says truly compelling. A vital course to go on to help your business!”

– Sarah Lloyd Morrison, Founder, Magenta PR
